Facades, interiors and details that speak for themselves.

Our signature is in the detail

From classic townhouses to historic commercial buildings – our work helps shape the face of Basel. Here you’ll find a selection of projects we’re particularly proud of.

Stadthausgasse Friedlin

Stadthausgasse 7, 4051 Basel

Once known as a distinguished glove shop, the building at Stadthausgasse 7 is a charming piece of Basel’s urban history. We were commissioned to redesign the facade of this historic property, restoring its character with fresh paintwork and a careful, sensitive touch.

Stadthaus / Bürgergemeinde Basel

Stadthausgasse 13, 4051 Basel

The Bürgergemeinde Basel is housed in one of the city’s most historic buildings: the Town Hall at Stadthausgasse 13. We were entrusted with the meticulous restoration of the wooden wall panelling on the ground floor – sanding, cleaning and refinishing with high-quality materials. We also redecorated the interior spaces in a classic white – understated, bright and elegant.

Stadtvilla Innenstadt Basel

Malzgasse, 4052 Basel

We were commissioned to renovate all architectural elements, the roof canopy, and the shutters of this beautiful city villa. The work was carried out exclusively with pure oil paint.

Villa Basel

We were commissioned to completely renovate this villa. Due to the incorrect choice of products, all wooden and metal components had to be completely stripped and rebuilt. Pure oil paint was also used here, which provides optimum protection for the components. The plaster was painted with mineral paint.

Schlafzimmer

Neuweilerstrasse, 4054 Basel

Well-being guaranteed. Good sleep and the right environment are worth their weight in gold! In this bedroom, we had the desired image printed on non-woven wallpaper and painted the surrounding walls in a matching color. Naturally, we used a breathable mineral paint.

EFH Fassadenrenovation

Sternenweg 5, 4123 Allschwil

Complete renovation of the facade, repainted from old-fashioned to modern, in a light color with anthracite as a contrast. Previously panelled, now insulated. Here too, a mineral paint was chosen to allow the house to “breathe.”

Gärtnerhaus Schwarzpark

Gellertstrasse 133, 4052 Basel

Nothing is impossible, as we discovered during this renovation. All architectural elements, ceiling panels, shutters, doors, and gates were stripped down to the raw substrate using a strong alkaline paint stripper, and we washed down the plaster surfaces with a strong ammonia solution to reveal a load-bearing substrate. To date, the Gärtnerhuus is the only building that has been renovated in this way. With the help of the restorer and the construction management, we have been able to protect a wonderfully preserved building fabric for many years to come. Further information can be requested directly.

Stadtvilla

Leimenstrasse 80, 4051 Basel

We were able to restore this stately house with the help of the entire construction management team, the restorer, and the Basel-Stadt Cantonal Monument Preservation Office. Through lengthy stripping work, we were able to reveal partially well-preserved green sandstone, which then also determined the color choice for the building. As the façade was painted with pure mineral paint, this work was relatively easy compared to the architectural elements. The existing paint could be washed off almost completely, revealing the raw plaster. We protected this with a fiber-reinforced mineral paint.
